INTRO
This is not a metaphor. THE SCISSOR GIRL is a married woman with two children. She stands suspended between roles she did not choose freely and a self she refuses to kill. The figures below are not abstract. The third bird on the left is the husband, present, watching, already part of the cut. This painting is about division as survival. Not escape. Not betrayal. A woman learning where to separate in order not to disappear.
